I mean training under the martial arts master. Instead of directly adapting the main events of the games, the new anime appears to be filling the gap in the time skip between Tekken 2 and 3 where it'll follow a young Jin and his early life training with his mother Jun before Ogre comes and wrecks everything - though it seems by the end we'll be getting into Tekken 3 territory proper.
